Gonna Get Through This World
Today while preparing for my radio show, I listened to Wonder Wheel by The Klezmatics. One song from the album has stayed with me: "Gonna Get Through This World." Like all the songs on this album, it was written by Woody Guthrie. I like the sound of it, and I like the way it starts out as getting through hardship, and then as strength builds over the course of the song, it becomes not only surviving, but also contributing to something larger than oneself.
