Best albums of 2011

Today, in honor of the New Year, I will be playing selections from my favorite albums of 2011. I chose my favorites from the albums that came into the station in 2011. Some were originally released earlier. I did not aim to pick any specific number of albums, just to pick those I thought were the best. The albums I picked:
